I created this piece of artwork for a family friend for her birthday as she wanted an endangered zebra painting on her living room wall as she wanted to spread awareness of the endangerment of her favourite animal. I really like how well the zebra went as I feel like it is more realistic by applying brown paint within the zebra stripes. I also like the background as I want to incorporate colour and energy back into the painting, as I felt that the zebra was lacking the emotion and energy. However if I were to recreate this piece again I wish I had of been a bit more careful and precise when applying the painted background as I feel like it looks messy and not neat enough.
