Lothar Gotz - Artist talk

Lothar Gotz is an artist who specifically produces site-specific installations that are full-sized. He focuses generally on the size of wallpaper, which can vary from minimalism to expressionism. He uses minimum colours, which makes people who view his work think about the space around it and why that specific installation was placed where it was. He has exhibited his work in places including Piccadilly Underground Station, Haymarket Metro Station, The Ministry of Justice, Pallant House, Chichester, and his most recent exhibited site-specific installation was in Leeds. Lothar has also exhibited internationally with solo work in locations such as Chisenhal, The Collection Lincoln, Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven, and Kunstrerein/Kunsthaus Hanover.
