I loved painting 'Trunks' as it was more my style when it comes to artwork, I love expressively applying paint to a canvas without worrying what colours I use with the exception of using the correct tones of certain colours to ensure I go the depth of the elephant. if I was to repaint this I would've kept a plain black background as I feel as though the background takes away the focus of the elephant which was not my intentions. I also love the way I applied the hint of blue to elephants eye as I feel as though I have given it character and some emotion, which is good as I want the audience to view my artwork and have a sense of emotion toward my artwork.
