Polly Morgan is a contemporary British artist who uses the medium of Taxidermy to express her work. She is a member of the UK Guild of Taxidermist, therefore she must only use animals that have died of natural causes, or have died accidentally for her work. when producing her work Polly makes sure that she features these animals in the most natural form that she possibly can, according to the 'Artnet' Polly stated ' I didn't want to sentimentalise nature', as well as 'I wanted to show it as it is: cannibalistic, predatory and unnerving'. I like this format of work as its eerily done, since the animals still look very much alive, which is the way animals should be. within Polly's work it kind of looks as if the animals are still alive and are free to roam the world, which is haunting since they are stuffed to keep their skeletal frames alive.
