This piece of artwork was produced on the 19th of January 2019. I used A3 multipurpose paper, then used watercolour to colour the butterfly in. I produced a melanoma on the fingernail to spread awareness and to show people that melanoma can also be easily detected. Melanoma can grow anywhere, including the eyes and nails. I had the hand holding a dandelion because dandelions are associated with melanoma, due to the spores. melanoma is like spores as melanoma can grow and hit random parts of the body. I wish I could've added more butterflies to this piece as I think this piece looks quite bland.
