I also inspired by the artist Lora Zombie, I really like how she expresses her style throughout all of her paintings. I really like the choice of colours she uses within her paintings as they are very bright and very out there, you cannot avoid her art work as it stands out due to the colours. Zombie also uses objects or animals that would not normally be painted by other artists as the main focus to spread deep, meaningful messages within her artwork. She tends to spread messages about pollution, war, sexuality etc, the types
of topics that would be deemed as a 'taboo' subject. Zombie uses mediums such as Acrylic or oil paints to paint her paintings, which could be an indication of why I like those types of mediums. She also takes a time lapse video of herself painting and uploads it to Youtube before selling her paintings, which helps her gain a larger following on her platforms, as people begin to realise that she paints in a very unique style.
