An artist I am heavily inspired by is Jason Edminson, he is an artist who takes an image from a horror movie then turns the image into a painting, with reference in the background linking with the movie. I like him a lot due to the fact that I think he shows his audience what true horror is. associate horror with the 70s such as Frankenstein etc, because in the 70s people were terrified with these types of horrors as they had not been done before, whereas nowadays all the horror have been done and are not as scary as they used to be.
