Jac is a Doctor, professional Visual artist and has a background in philosophy. she has research with extensive experiences duets working with clinicians, patients and medical students from the US and the UK. Jac uses her art work to understand illnesses and diseases. in 2014 and 2015 Jac participated in CCBRT (comprehensive community based habilitation in Tanzania), which is one of the biggest/largest fistular treatment programmes in the world. this allowed her to be able to empathise more with people with this illness, and it also allowed her to get a bigger understanding of how these patients feel pain when they are suffering with illnesses and diseases. due to this she is now able to show the pain through her artwork, and people are able to view this work and empathise with the people as well.
