I am hosting an exhibition for my work within the project of Art in Society (University project), the project is to mainly have an exhibition that people in society can witness.
My project idea focuses on the theme of Melanoma which is cancer that grows on the skin and can grow on any organ on the body except teeth and hair. Melanoma is cancer that is very easily prevented as its cause by UV rays caused by the sun and sun-beds. Melanoma is easily prevented by applying suncreams with a five star rather. This project idea is very personal to me since my Mam had melanoma.
I hope to have my exhibition at my mams charity as its very site appropriate since I'm advocating awareness. I also plan on having my exhibition within the month of May as it is skin cancer month.
