I produced this painting on the 24th of January 2019. I used A3 multipurpose paper to create this painting. I used to watercolour paint to create the butterflies, I enjoyed using the watercolour paint as I felt like I was able to blend the colours together on the butterflies. I painted many forms of butterflies since they have a huge meaning with the link of melanomas. butterflies are described as being dormant until they set off just alike to melanoma. I wanted to do a painting where it was only just butterflies so people don't get the immediate meaning that it is about skin cancer. I painted the butterflies the way they are so it looks like they are moving, I love this effect.
