Adelaide Murphy Tyrol is a natural history artist-illustrator, who focuses on botanical, allegorical and environmental themes within her artwork. Adelaide Murphy Tyrol believes in showing her artwork with importance in viewing nature with a scientifically accurate eye, as stated by her website ' I find the power of nature to lie beyond the calliper.' She also believes that the natural world shows the truths other that pretence documental ones. Adelaide Murphy Tyrol had displayed many exhibitions in galleries and museums, as well as being an owner of the Oliphant Studios- a scenic house specialised in painting, and can also be used for the film/photography industry. I thoroughly enjoy looking at Adelaide Murphy Tyrol's work as I like how realistic the animals are that she paints, I also think she captures the expression on the animals faces very well which is something that is very hard to capture. it also allows the perceiving audience to somewhat feel the emotions that the animals (that she is painting) are feeling.
