Adam Mcdade is a PHD student who studied at the University of Sunderland since Foundation year, his PHD is about learning and understanding the background on Western tattoo's. Adam currently works in Triple Six Tattoo shop in Central Sunderland alongside his PHD. Adam works there in aid of his research for his PHD on Western tattoo's. Adam mentioned in the talk that he believes that tattooing is a more accessible art form now rather than the standard art with pen and paper - he believes that tattooing will take over as an art format. He also thinks that the tattoo ink and needles are replacing paint and paintbrushes. He also works for END as the editor as well as producing engraved stylised wood. Adam likes to draw with his less dominant hand which allows him to produce his newer style in psychedelic art.
